Coach/Bus The main coach station for long distance journeys is on St James Boulevard in the center of the city. Most inter-city coaches stop here. The coach station is about 15 minutes walk from the University. Air It may be possible to fly direct to from locations across Europe. Indirect flights typically change in London, Amsterdam, Brussels or Paris. Connecting flights from London to Newcastle fly from , and airports. The airport is about seven miles north west of Newcastle city centre. Official airport taxis pick-up and drop-off outside the terminal. You can or from inside the airport terminal. If you have booked any other taxi, they will pick you up or drop you off just across the road from the terminal.
